These Past Few Days.........

  As anyone knows, things can change at any moment and get you off routine. That happened Thursday. I have a ton of orders right now, one being about 42 cheer jackets that takes me 2-2 1/2 hours each jacket to stitch. Thursday was already going to be a busy day because I had booked a painting class for me and my 12 you in the middle of the day. I got up at 7 a.m so I could get started on a fishing shirt order that I needed to get done and in the mail so that it could arrive by the 19th. I had two of the shirts here and the other one, I thought, was arriving later this day. I get the two shirts ready before we leave for the day. We go to Chic fil A for breakfast and then we grab some Starbucks and head to our painting class. Not long after we leave I get emails letting me know that my packages had arrived so I have no worries, everything is going to plan. After the painting class, my daughter tells me that she needs some summer clothes so we go to Dillards so she can get her a few things, then to Hobby Lobby and then we finally make it home. I have stuff everywhere from all of the packages that arrived while we were gone. I get the one package to get the shirt I needed to work on, I had ordered 4 shirts, but only 3 came in, the other one was being shipped from a different wharehouse, the one I needed, of course, and I didn't realize that. I go through my messages and get on the website and check. It showed to be arriving Thursday on the website, but when I put the tracking on the USPS website, it showed to still be in preshipment since Tuesday, UGH....everything is here, but that one shirt, how does this always happen and why aren't they realeasing my package to USPS so I can be getting it?? I call the store and the lady was rude, I get off the phone and slam down my notebook, not realizing that my laptop is right there so I smacked it and it goes into a tizzy.  So, I have no idea what to do as this package says preshipment so I have no idea when to expect it and I need to get these shirts shipped. So, I decide to drive to my nearest store, over an hour away and get the shirt. I  picked up a red shirt that they had, wasn't really what I wanted but I figured it was better than nothing. When I get home, I snap a photo and send a message to my customer explaining what had happened. She is so understanding and didn't mind waiting for the other shirt, she didn't like the one I went and got, so that was my impatientness getting the best of me. I get up Friday morning to a message saying my shirt shipped and that it would be here the next day. Awesome, there's still hope, but  now, I have a laptop issue because mine will not come on so off to Wal Mart I go to get a cheap one to do me until I get mine fixed. I get back home and get it ready with my software and fonts and I manage to get a ton of orders done Friday, thank goodness!! Saturday rolls around and I finally get started on these cheer jackets, the shirt arrives around 2, so I get it ready and drop it off at the post office as we head out to eat and HOPEFULLY it arrives before the 19th. Now, to figure out a schedule to get these jackets done and shipped on time :)
