It's a week before we leave for vacation and I have soooo much to do. Vacation is like new years, it's like a new beginning when you get back. I don't know about you, but I LOVE for my house to be super clean when we leave so when we come back, we can still enjoy the rest of our week and not worry about cleaning, just laundry laundry laundry!! I haven't done my spring cleaning this year so I started it yesterday. I have way too much to do to get it done before we leave, but what little I do get done makes me feel so much better. I started on my kitchen yesterday, cleaning all of my "knick Knacks" as people call them and wiping down the walls. I got one side done, lol. I am about to get started on it again. I want the kitchen done at least and maybe start the living room.
I am up working on my jackets this morning. I am going to work on those today until we leave later to do our Saturday running and go to my Son's house. My grandson turned a year old the 19th and his party is "next weekend" when we start our vacation, so we wont be here to attend, but that is o.k. We will see him today and celebrate :)

If you're interested, I wipe down my walls and cabinets with various items, but this year, I am using murphy oil soap, I got an old coffee can and mix it with water and just get to wiping, lol. My Knick knacks, I put in the sink and spray with windex, let them sit for a few seconds and then rinse off with water and place on a towel until dry. This is how I do it, some other people may have other ways. Please feel free to share your ideas.
